Safety
The safety of all participants and festival-goers is of the utmost importance. Mazatlán Jazz Festival will work by the CDC guidelines and the World Health Organization's recommendations for protection against COVID-19.
Mazatlán is safe to visit. Of course, when traveling anywhere abroad, it is a good idea to be aware of your surroundings, but this location is an incredible tourist destination. Each of the Pueblo Bonito resorts has a guarded entry gate to ensure visitors are guests of the resort (or sister resorts). There is also security around and on the properties, as your safety is the highest priority.

Enhanced procedures have been implemented at the SJD International Airport, including thermal cameras and travel background checks on all arriving passengers. The destination is also being certified by a program overseen by the Ministry of Health, including new standards for restaurants, hotels, water sports, and touristic activities. At Pueblo Bonito, your safety and comfort come first.
